EMB-145I aircraft delivered to CABS

ew Delhi: Indian defence scientists have come one more step closer to develop indigenous AEW&C systems with the handing over of the Brazilian Embraer-145I aircraft to Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) of DRDO. Now the aircraft will be integrated with the AESA radar and mission systems in India. Agni-II missile successfully test-fired

Bhubaneswar : India Thursday successfully test-fired its nuclear capable Agni-II strategic ballistic missile from a military base in Odisha, a defence official said. The test was conducted from Wheeler s Island in Bhadrak district, around 200 km from here, at about 9 a.m. by army personnel as part of a training exercise. "It was a 100 percent success. It was a user trial by army personnel," M.V.K.V. Prasad, director of the Integrated Test Range, told IANS. Indigenous AESA radars for Tejas Mark-2 : Saraswat

New Delhi: India is soon to begin its second phase of indigenous AEW&CS (Airborne Early Warning and Control System) programme. The government has given necessary sanctions for the project. Disclosing this, the DRDO Chief Dr. V. K. Agni-V test in a fortnight: DRDO chief

New Delhi : India will join an elite group of nations such as the US, Russia and China with inter-continental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) when it tests the over 5,000-km-range Agni-V in a fortnight from now.
