Kolkata, Aug 23 (IANS) Public sector shipbuilder Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Limited will invest more than Rs 2,600 crore in West Bengal to develop and upgrade three shipbuilding facilities, its Chairman and Managing Director Commodore P.R. Hari (Retd.) said on Sunday. In an exclusive interaction with IANS, Hari said the company plans to invest around Rs 2,670 crore across three facilities in the state as part of its expansion programme. Amaravati, Aug 20 (IANS) A massive search operation was underway in the Bay of Bengal for seven fishermen from Andhra Pradesh who had set out to sea earlier this month, officials said on Thursday. Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu said the search operation involves two Dornier aircraft, a helicopter, and seven boats of the Navy and the Coast Guard. He said Navy boats were deployed for extensive search from Visakhapatnam towards Paradip. A Navy vessel is also searching towards the port area.
