SSB seizes 20 kg ganja close to India-Nepal border; four arrested

Kolkata, Aug 19 (IANS) The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has seized over 20 kg of Ganja (Marijuana) close to the India-Nepal border and has apprehended four persons. The seizure took place around 11.45 p.m. on Tuesday at the PWD More on NH-327, about four km from the international border. Five places in Delhi receive bomb threats on eve of Independence Day

New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS) Five places in the national Capital received bomb threats a day before the nation celebrates its 80th Independence Day, officials of the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said on Friday. According to the DFS, the locations in Delhi which received calls alleging bomb blasts are Jamnagar House, Jhandewalan Flatted Factory Complex, District Magistrate Office in Saket, Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport and SDM Office at Delhi Cantt. JCO among four soldiers injured in accidental landmine explosion along LoC in J&K’s Rajouri

Jammu, June 16 (IANS) A junior commissioned officer (JCO) was among the four soldiers injured in an accidental landmine explosion in J&K’s Rajouri district on Tuesday, officials said. Manipur CM flags off 477 new police vehicles, says modernisation key to peace and security
