Etihad Airways, Korean Air expand code share agreement

Abu Dhabi :  Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has expanded its code share agreement with Korean Air, South Korea''s largest airline, to include six new destinations. In the second phase of cooperation, Etihad Airways will place its EY code on Korean Air services from Seoul Incheon to Honolulu, Vancouver and Hong Kong. Korean Air will place its KE code on Etihad Airways'' flights from Abu Dhabi to Johannesburg, Muscat and, subject to government approval, Khartoum. Chennai : Malaysian budget airlines AirAsia Thursday warned the public against responding to false recruitment offers for its Indian operations, and said it will not be responsible for the acts of unauthorised recruitment agencies. New Delhi : The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) has approved the proposed 24 percent stake-sale in Jet Airways to Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways, Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh said Monday. "As far as I know, the (deal) has been cleared by the FIPB with minor changes to the language. All issues raised by civil aviation ministry has been resolved.
