Kolkata : Greater participation of Indian industries is needed in defence equipment production and procurement, especially in the eastern region, and this requires well integrated private-public partnerships, an army official said Thursday. New Delhi : In early March, suspected Chinese hackers breached the computers of India''s top military organisation, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in what was touted to be amongst the biggest such security breaches in the country''s history.
