New Delhi: To ensure immediate and effective medication to soldiers and the public in the event of terror attacks and accidents, the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed medicines such as a wound-healing gel and freeze-resistant saline water that are extremely helpful at higher altitudes in saving lives in the absence of doctors. MoU Signed for Developing Deoghar Airport

New Delhi: Airports Authority of India, Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Govt. of Jharkhand signed a tripartite MoU for development of Deoghar Airport in Deoghar district of Jharkhand. The existing Deoghar Airport will be developed for operations of A-320 and C-130 Aircraft. Hopeful of flying Kaveri engine in next Aero India: DRDO

Bengluru: With French company Safran agreeing to help India revive its Kaveri combat jet engine project, a senior DRDO official said on Thursday they hope to fly the engine in the next Aero India. Indigenous ”Nirbhay” missile to be test-fired again: DRDO

Bengaluru: The glitches in indigenous subsonic cruise missile 'Nirbhay' have been identified and the missile is likely to be test-fired again in May or June after incorporating changes suggested by a committee that probed the earlier test-failures, the DRDO said on Wednesday. Bengaluru: The DRDO on Wednesday said it will develop a new version of the Naval Light Combat Aircraft, which is likely to fly by the end of 2020. Bengaluru: The Indian Navy's rejection of the naval variant of the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas provoked sharp reaction from former DRDO chief V.K. Saraswat on Sunday. DRDO tests exo-atmospheric ballistic missile interception

New Delhi: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Saturday successfully tested an exo-atmospheric missile interception as part of the ballistic missile defence programme, sources informed. At 7.45 a.m., on the east coast of India, an incoming missile was successfully intercepted at a height of 100 kms with a direct hit by an interceptor missile, said a top DRDO official. The interceptor is based on the nuclear-capable Prithvi Missile.
