Complete ban on flying drones, UAVs over Noida International Airport and surrounding areas

Myanmar’s Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay airports set to resume local operations

Yangon, April 3 (IANS) Myanmar's Nay Pyi Taw International Airport and Mandalay International Airport, damaged by a devastating earthquake, are set to resume local travel services. Australian airlines to halt operations in Brisbane ahead of tropical cyclone Alfred’s landfall

Sydney, March 6 (IANS) Major Australian airlines have announced they will suspend operation in Brisbane on Thursday as severe tropical cyclone Alfred approaches Australia's state of Queensland. A new update by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said that Alfred's approach to southeast Queensland has slowed, pushing back landfall until early Saturday. SpiceJet’s revenue nosedives 36 pc in Q3, losses deepen to Rs 441 crore in Q2

New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS) Low-cost airline SpiceJet has reported a sharp decline (on-year) in its revenue in the October-December quarter (Q3 FY25) to Rs 1,178.7 crore from Rs 1,850.4 crore in a year-ago period (Q3 FY24). This decline came despite a rise in domestic travel demand in India, which has been increasing for the past eight quarters. Madhya Pradesh to scout for unused airstrips in tier-II towns

Temporary flight restrictions imposed at Russian airports amid security concerns

Moscow, Feb 3 (IANS) Temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft have been imposed at the Russian airports of Astrakhan, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Nizhnekamsk, and Saratov, authorities said on Monday. India tops global list in passenger loads on domestic flights

New Delhi, Jan 31 (IANS) India’s domestic flights have recorded a passenger load factor of 86.4 per cent in 2024, to forge ahead of the US and China which figure at the second and third spot respectively, according to the latest report of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
