N.Korea fires two short-range projectiles: Seoul

Seoul: North Korea on Monday fired two unidentified short-range projectiles into the East Sea, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said, the first such launches since it warned of "a new strategic weapon" earlier this year.The projectiles were fired from areas near its eastern coastal city of Wonsan towards the northeast at 12.37 p.m., Yonhap News Agency quoted the JCS as saying. N.Korea conducts another ‘critical’ test at satellite launch site

N.Korean media confirms multiple rocket launcher test

Seoul: North Korea's official news agency confirmed on Friday that the country successfully tested a super-large multiple rocket launcher the previous day, adding that it verified the "perfection" of the weapons system.On Thursday, South Korea's military said that the North fired two short-range projectiles from a western region toward the East Sea, saying that both flew about 370 km with a maximum altitude of around 90 km, reports Yonhap News Agency.
