New Delhi: The medium-range surface-to-air missile system (MRSAM) for the Indian army has proved its effectiveness as two missiles achieved direct hits against high speed aerial targets, during flight tests on Wednesday, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said. The flight tests were carried out at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur off the coast of Odisha.The launches were carried out establishing the accuracy and reliability of the weapon system against targets, covering sea-skimming and high-altitude functionality within the envelope.
