Tech Mahindra bags Rs 400 cr contract from HAL

Bengaluru: IT major Tech Mahindra on Thursday said it has inked a Rs 400-crore contract with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to support the defence PSU's "Project Parivartan" to streamline and standardise its business processes across the organisation.As per the contract, Tech Mahindra will be responsible for the transformation and modernisation of HAL's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Mahindra Aerospace aircraft grounded in Australia

Mumbai: Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has temporarily suspended the operations of Mahindra Aerospace GA8 aircraft.The development came after a fatal GA8 aircraft accident on July 14, 2019 in Sweden during a skydiving flight. None of the nine people on board survived the accident. The GA8 is manufactured in Australia by GippsAero, a Mahindra subsidiary, based in the Latrobe Valley.
