Chandrayaan-2 mission achieved 98% success: ISRO chief

Bhubaneswar: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman K. Sivan on Saturday said Chandrayaan-2 mission has achieved 98 per cent of its objectives, while they are yet to establish any communication with lander 'Vikram'. "We could not have established any communication with the lander yet. The project was developed in two parts - science and technology demonstration. We achieved total success in science objective while in technology demonstration, the success percentage was almost full. Washington: Scientists have determined that the camera aboard NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) was hit in 2014 by a tiny meteoroid, a small natural object in space. The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC), which normally produces beautifully clear images of the lunar surface, produced on October 13, 2014 an image that was wild and jittery. Washington:  In a possible push to advance space mining, NASA is seeking information on commercial payload delivery services to the lunar surface, media reported.
