Rising sea eroding Gujarat coast, groundwater drawing is sinking Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar, Jan 14 (IANS) Humans have to face nature's fury when they interfere in nature's cycle. Some 110 kilometre coastline of Gujarat is facing erosion because of the rising sea level and climate change, say researchers. Ahmedabad is sinking 12 to 25 mm annually because of the drawing of groundwater in huge volume, says another research.
