Islamabad: Severely criticising Pakistan's incumbent federal coalition government, former Prime Minister Imran Khan said the "American slaves" had increased the prices of petroleum products, while India bought cheap oil from Russia and reduced prices. HAL signs contract for export of ALH to Mauritius

Bengaluru: In line with the governments vision to boost defence exports to friendly foreign countries, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) signed a contract with the government of Mauritius for export of an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH Mk III) for the Mauritius police force. Mauritius already operates HAL built ALH and Do-228 aircraft. With this contract, HAL and the government of Mauritius have further strengthened the long-standing business relations spanning over three decades. Govt to sell 15% stake in HAL through sale offer

Bengaluru: The Union Government is selling 15 per cent of its equity stake in the state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) at Rs 1,001 per share to raise about Rs 5,000 crore through an offer for sale (OFS), an official said on Wednesday. "The Defence Ministry has notified the stock exchanges in the evening on selling 15 per cent of its equity stake (5.01-crore shares) in the company at Rs 1,001 per share of Rs 10 face value through OFS," a company official told IANS here. Bengaluru: India's second spaceport for launching small satellites would be located in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi district, ISRO chief K. Sivan said on Wednesday. Bengaluru: The Government owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited records a turnover of over Rs. 18,000 crores (provisional and unaudited) for the year ending March 31, 2018 (corresponding figure for the previous year was Rs. 17,605 crores). The Company expects continued “Excellent” MoU rating for the FY 2017-18 from Government of India on meeting all the relevant parameters related to its performance. During the FY 2017-18, the Company has produced 40 new aircraft/helicopters and 105 new engines. The Company has also carried out overhaul of 220 aircraft/helicopters and 550 engines.
