Air quality in Chicago among world’s worst due to Canadian wildfires

Chicago, June 28, Smoke drifting from the raging wildfires in Canada has caused the air quality level in Chicago to rank among the worst in the world. As of 4 p.m.on Tuesday, AirNow.gov listed Chicago's air quality at 258, under the "very unhealthy" category, reports Xinhua news agency. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency issued an air quality alert in effect until midnight Wednesday and encouraged Chicago residents to limit their time outdoors. Washington, April 12 (IANS) The US Democratic National Committee (DNC) has announced that Chicago, Illinois, will host the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
