SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft launch likely by April end: Elon Musk

San Francisco, April 11 (IANS) SpaceX's Starship is likely to launch on the first orbital flight by April end, CEO Elon Musk said. "Starship launch trending towards near the end of third week of April," Musk wrote in a tweet on Monday. A day ago, he had said that the "Starship is ready for launch. Awaiting regulatory approval". The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is yet to grant licence approval for the orbital test flight. Air India to acquire modern fleet, orders 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing (Ld)

New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS) Air India, part of the Tata Sons conglomerate, on Tuesday announced that it has signed letters of intent with Airbus and Boeing to acquire both widebody and single-aisle aircraft. The order comprises 40 Airbus A350s, 20 Boeing 787s and 10 Boeing 777-9s widebody aircraft, as well as 210 Airbus A320/321 Neos and 190 Boeing 737 MAX single-aisle aircraft. The A350 aircraft will be powered by Rolls-Royce engines, and the B777/787s by engines from GE Aerospace. All single-aisle aircraft will be powered by engines from CFM International.
