NASA detects smiley in new galaxy

Washington: NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has captured a formation of galaxies that looks like a smiling face, said the US space agency.On Saturday, it posted an image on its Instagram handle that showed two yellow orbs above an arc of light -- painting a smiley face in space. NASA’s lunar orbiter camera survives meteoroid hit

Washington: Scientists have determined that the camera aboard NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) was hit in 2014 by a tiny meteoroid, a small natural object in space. The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera (LROC), which normally produces beautifully clear images of the lunar surface, produced on October 13, 2014 an image that was wild and jittery.
