DRDO flight tests Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile

New Delhi: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Tuesday successfully flight tested the final deliverable configuration of Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM), officials said.The indigenously developed anti-tank missile is a low weight, fire and forget missile, and is launched from a man portable launcher, integrated with thermal sight. New Delhi: India successfully flight-tested its indigenously developed low weight, fire and forget man-portable anti-tank guided missile (MPATGM) on Wednesday.The step is seen as a major boost to 'AatmaNirbhar Bharat' (Self Reliant India) and strengthening the Indian Army. India successfully tests indigenous anti-tank guided missile

New Delhi: India on Friday successfully tested its indigenously-developed anti-tank guided missile systems from an airborne platform.The missile systems have been designed and developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Joint user trials for Helina, the Army version, and Dhruvastra, the Air Force version, were carried out from the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) platform in the desert ranges.Five missions were carried out for evaluating the missile capabilities in minimum and maximum ranges, the DRDO said. India successfully tests anti-tank guided missile Nag, ready for induction in Army

New Delhi: India successfully carried out the final trial of anti-tank guided missile -- Nag -- on Thursday. The missile will be inducted soon in the India Army. In 2008, Ministry of Defence approved procurement of 300 Nag missiles and 25 missile carriers for Army. SECOND FLIGHT TEST OF MPATGM SUCCESSFUL

New Delhi: Indigenously developed Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM), was successfully flight tested for the second time from the Ahmednagar range today. All the mission objectives have been met. The two missions on 15 and 16 September 2018 have been successfully flight tested for different ranges including the maximum range capability. Raksha Mantri Smt Nirmala Sitharaman congratulated the team DRDO, Indian Army and associated Industries for the twin success of MPATGM weapon system.
