HAL signs contract for export of ALH to Mauritius

Bengaluru: In line with the governments vision to boost defence exports to friendly foreign countries, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) signed a contract with the government of Mauritius for export of an Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH Mk III) for the Mauritius police force. Mauritius already operates HAL built ALH and Do-228 aircraft. With this contract, HAL and the government of Mauritius have further strengthened the long-standing business relations spanning over three decades. The ALH Mk III is a multi-role, multi-mission versatile helicopter in 5.5 tonne category. HAL Hands Over ALHs to the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard

Bengaluru: HAL today handed over three Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH Mk III) to Indian Navy and two ALHs to Indian Coast Guard as part of its 16 ALHs contract at the ongoing Aero India 2021. The helicopters were handed over by Mr. R. Madhavan, CMD, HAL to Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of Naval Staff and Mr. K.
