Reliance Defence Undertakes Keel Laying and Steel Cutting of ICG vessels

Port of Pipavav: Reliance Infrastructure controlled Reliance Defence and Engineering Limited (‘RDEL’) has commenced the Steel Cutting of the 14 Fast Patrol Vessels and carried out the Keel Laying of Training Ship for the Indian Coast Guard at their shipyard in Pipavav, Gujarat. 2nd n-plant at Kudankulam to restart generation soon

Chennai: The second 1,000 MW unit at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KNPP) will restart generation soon, said a senior official of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL). The unit was under outage since June 25 afternoon due to control circuit malfunction, said Power System Operation Corporation Ltd (Posco). The unit most probably would restart generation on Tuesday, a senior official told. In May only, the unit was shut down due to water and steam leakage. ‘ONGC doubles gas production in Tripura in 5 years’

Agartala: State-owned ONGC has more than doubled its gas production in five years in Tripura brightening prospects of setting up of more gas based projects, officials said here on Wednesday. "ONGC has more than doubled its production from 6,450 lakh cubic metres of gas in 2012-13 to 13,820 lakh cubic metres in 2016-17," a spokesman of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) said. Reliance Defence to maintain USN’s 7th Fleet ship

Mumbai: Reliance Infrastructure Limited (RInfra)-controlled Reliance Defence and Engineering Limited (RDEL) has signed the Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) with the US Navy to maintain the vessels of its Seventh Fleet operating in the region, with the company estimating revenues of about Rs 15,000 crore ($10 billion) over next 3 -5 years.
