DRDO successful carries out flight trial of indigenous UAV

New Delhi, Dec 15, DRDO on Friday said that it has successfully carried out a flight trial of Autonomous Flying Wing Technology Demonstrator, an indigenous high-speed flying-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). As per the Ministry of Defence (MoD) the test was conducted from the Aeronautical Test Range, Chitradurga in Karnataka. “The successful flying demonstration of this autonomous stealth UAV is a testimony to maturity in the technology readiness levels in the country. Garuda Aerospace launches solar-powered spy drone

DRDO’s TDF scheme enhanced to Rs 50 cr per project

Surface-to-air missile system for Army successfully hits aerial targets: DRDO

New Delhi: The medium-range surface-to-air missile system (MRSAM) for the Indian army has proved its effectiveness as two missiles achieved direct hits against high speed aerial targets, during flight tests on Wednesday, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) said. New Delhi: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Tuesday successfully flight tested the final deliverable configuration of Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM), officials said.The indigenously developed anti-tank missile is a low weight, fire and forget missile, and is launched from a man portable launcher, integrated with thermal sight. Hyderabad: Start-ups can compete for grant funding of up to Rs 10 crore each for developing high-technology solutions against specific requirements posted by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under its Technology Development Fund (TDF) scheme.
