Two pilots die as plane on training flight crashes in Kanpur (Lead)

New Delhi, Aug 27 (IANS) A trainee pilot and flying instructor were killed in a plane crash near Ganga Barrage, approximately 5 nautical miles from Kanpur Civil Airport, on Thursday, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The Tecnam P2006T twin-engine aircraft, bearing registration VT-NBV and operated by M/s Garg Aviation Ltd., Kanpur, was on a training flight in the local flying area of Kanpur Civil Airport. Black smoke seen near aircraft engine at Japan’s Narita airport, runway closed

Tokyo, Aug 20 (IANS) Black smoke was seen near the engine of an aircraft at Narita Airport near Tokyo on Thursday morning, causing the affected runway to be closed for inspection, a public broadcaster reported. According to public broadcaster NHK, at around 10:40 a.m. local time, the fire department received a report that something resembling black smoke could be seen coming from an aircraft engine at the airport. New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS) Air India’s Airbus A320neo operating a Phuket-New Delhi flight temporarily lost control of major flight surfaces for about four seconds after failures involving all three hydraulic systems, according to a report. According to analysis by Airbus of the aircraft’s flight data recorder, accessed by NDTV Profit, the incident involving flight AI2379 occurred on August 4 and caused the aircraft to lose about 300 feet of altitude, injuring at least 24 passengers and crew members. IndiGo commences operations from Noida International Airport, to connect 16 destinations

New Delhi, June 15 (IANS) Low-cost carrier IndiGo on Monday became the first airline to commence flight operations from Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.
